Swarovski crystal in citrine yellow and pale green chrysolite satin with ivory glass pearls $35
Magnetic hematite necklaces were our first product and have been
consistently very popular ever since. The tube shaped larger beads
(black or silver coated) are actually hematite stone that has been
magnetized. They are faceted so they reflect the light beautifully. The
beads attract and stick to one another, no clasp needed!
The
necklaces are three feet long and can be wound to different lengths,
many different choker designs as well as lariat styles, bracelets, and
even anklets! The versatility, quality and beauty of these necklaces
make them a great mainstay item in a jewelry wardrobe. You can adapt
them to any neckline.
They are strung on 24 pound
strength nylon coated beading wire, so they are very strong and sturdy.
They end up making great baby toys and are fun to fiddle with in long
meetings or whenever you need something to do with your hands. The
magnets clicking together has a soothing, stress relieving quality you
have to experience to appreciate. (We don't make any claims for the
healing effects of the magnets however)
Prices vary
according to the elements used in the beaded designs-stones, freshwater
pearls and Swarovski crystals all contribute to price variations. Other
elements like fire-polished Czech, glass beads and glass pearls are
less expensive but still high quality materials.
Prices range from $30-$45

Christmas Necklaces
I just wanted to share a couple of things I made this season. The top one I made for a co-worker who wanted a necklace like one she'd seen. It didn't actually turn out anything like the one she showed me, but she liked it anyway. The second one is my own that I made with a set of beads sold as a designer set for a bracelet at our local bead store. I tossed the plastic pearls and plastic silver spacer beads that came with it and put in my own quality pearls and silver.
Both these are made on memory wire, which I've used to make bracelets but not necklaces before. The top one I can custom make, but the bottom one is one of a kind and just to share.

Wire and Bead Christmas Ornaments
After seeing some plant charms a co-worker made, I've been playing with wire and beads to make ornaments. At a recent jewelry show I got a lot of 'What is this?" from the people who looked at them, so I'd love some feedback...I'm keeping the prices low while I develop this new product.

Pendants-Just for fun!
Jade colored stone pendant with silver wire and embellishments of freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystal
Polished beach quartz embellished with copper wire, jasper, Swarovski crystal, and freshwater pearls.
This amazing bead was hand-made by glass bead artist Kari Carrigan. I used copper wire to create a bail and some decoration to set it off.
Not sure what this base bead is, but it shines like dark abalone. I wrapped it with silver plated wire embellished with Swarovski crystal and decorative sterling beads.
These aren't for sale at this point, I just wanted to share some of the things I'm playing with in wire wrapping and embellishment. I'd love to get some feedback on these...I have lots more stones I want to embellish as I get time.
Pearl and Swarovski Necklace on Silk with Earrings
Pearl necklace knotted on silk and pearl earrings, both with Swarovski crystal accent
Knotting the high quality glass pearls on silk creates a beautiful drape when you wear it. The Swaroviski rondells are silver with pale rainbow crystals. The clasp is a silver plated lobster claw clasp. The graduated pearl pattern adds eye-catching interest to the design.
Detail view-Those crystals really sparkle!
Close up of the earrings. Ear wires are sterling silver.
You can custom order variations on design and length...leave out the crystal, put in another color of crystal, less graduations, or more..knotted on colored silk....Contact me with your ideas and we can make it happen!

Celtic Knot, Stone and Sterling on Silk
This one is my favorite. Women who see it and handle it agree. I knot red jasper and light jade green stone with sterling silver accents on deep emerald silk and feature a lustrous sterling silver Celtic knot pendant. The delicate sterling toggle clasp completes it. The feel and drape of this necklace make it a delight to wear. I consider this an heirloom piece. 20.5 inches long

Hematite and Silver Necklace
Polished hematite stones are the definition of elegance. Add sterling silver spacers and a sterling S clasp, and the look is complete. This necklace goes with almost everything you wear, but is especially nice when you dress up. The cost of Sterling silver keeps going up, but the look of sterling and hematite stone is priceless. This is one of my nicest pieces. Princess length-19 inches, perfectly framed by many necklines.
